Maltose / Malto dextrin





Malto dextrins are manufactured by process substantially identical to those used in the production of glucose syrup, except that hydrolysis is controlled to keep the DE below 20. Maltodextrins are made by enzyme catalyzed hydrolysis, refining and the refined syrup is concentrated about 60~75% solids or is spray dried to obtain a white powder containing 3~5% moisture.
